Census Bureau: More women than men in Chester in 2017


Of the 728 people living in Chester in 2017, 51.5 percent (375) were women and 48.5 percent (353) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Vermont Business Daily.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 256-to-233. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 106 females and 62 males.
