Here is what we’re looking for:
The Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic marketing professional to lead the organization in the role of Executive Director.
This is not your grandfather’s Chamber. The MRVCC is a forward-thinking, innovative, community-focused destination marketing and business advocacy organization dedicated to creating economic vitality in the Mad River Valley, Vermont.
The Executive Director is responsible for leading these efforts – working closely with staff, volunteers, a board of directors, affiliate organizations, and over 150 local business owners and managers.
A successful candidate will have experience building and managing brand reputation; developing a smart, integrated marketing plan for maximum exposure within limited resources; and executing all aspects of that plan. Important is the ability to make social and professional connections with a variety of people; to problem solve; to juggle many different projects at the same time; and to go from high-level strategic thinking to boots-on-the-ground action, often in the same day, and always with a smile and enthusiasm.
This is a really fun, rewarding job for the right person, and an opportunity to be a part of a reimagined and growing organization in a vibrant Vermont community.
Again, if you have a strong candidate to recommend, please let us know by March 25th.
