19.7 percent of Saint Michael's College students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 19.7 percentage of Saint Michael's College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Saint Michael's College has 1,792 undergraduate students, of which 56 percent are women and 44 percent are men, and a total student body of 2,077 students. Of these students, 182 men and 228 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Saint Michael's College with the most participants are soccer (56), lacrosse (55) and ice hockey (53).
