15 percent of Norwich University students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 15 percentage of Norwich University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Norwich University has 3,225 undergraduate students, of which 77 percent are men and 23 percent are women, and a total student body of 4,100 students. Of these students, 419 men and 197 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Norwich University with the most participants are football (126), otros deportes (89) and lacrosse (66).
