Marathon Health issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.
Schupan & Sons, Inc. and Fabri-Kal Corporation announced a partnership to provide primary and preventive care services to more than 500 of their eligible employees and families through a partnership with Marathon Health, LLC. Through a shared service model, both companies will utilize the same health center and its services. The Schupan & Fabri-Kal Employee Health Center will be located in Kalamazoo, Mich., and is scheduled to open August 29, 2018.
The partnership is part of Schupan & Sons, Inc. and Fabri-Kal Corporation’s effort to increase access to primary and preventive care services, improve the health of their population, and stabilize healthcare costs. The health center is provided through Marathon Health, a provider of employer-sponsored health centers that enable employers to optimize the health of their workforce and business. Schupan & Sons Inc. and Fabri-Kal Corporation are family owned, Kalamazoo-based companies. Services at their shared health center will include health assessments, acute care, and health coaching.
